Circling the County After Tropical Storm Debby ~ August 10, 2024

The duck-feeding area near Bushkill Park held a Snow Goose and 3 Wood Ducks.

The area around the Martins Creek PPL power plant produced a Double-crested Cormorant, 2 American Kestrels, a Belted Kingfisher, and a Common Raven.

I stopped at the Osprey nest along the Nazareth-Tatamy Road and saw one Osprey on the nest.
At the Nazareth Quarry, there were 5 Double-crested Cormorants, a Wood Duck, and an Eastern Phoebe.

Five Killdeer, a Solitary Sandpiper, and a Cooper's Hawk were seen at the Gun Club Road retention pond in Upper Nazareth Township.
At the Regency Boulevard retention ponds, I saw the continuing Hooded Merganser, 2 Killdeer, a Great Blue Heron, and a total of 7 Green Herons, which included four in the south pond, two in the cove, and one in the north pond.

At the Green Pond area, I found 3 Green Herons, a Great Egret, a Great Blue Heron, 2 Spotted Sandpipers, a Solitary Sandpiper, a circling adult Bald Eagle, an Eastern Kingbird, and 3 Barn Swallows.
