Prothonotary Warbler along the Lehigh River ~ May 18, 2021

A visiting Virginia birder saw a Prothonotary Warbler somewhere along the Lehigh River on the 15th, but the location wasn't known until a few days later. I birded the area this morning and got to see and photograph the Prothonotary. Unfortunately, it wasn't seen again after that.

Five other warbler species were noted, including 2 Blackpoll Warblers. There was also a group of 14 Cedar Waxwings there. I got some photos of most of them lined up on the branches.

Once again today, the two Great Egrets continued at Green Pond.
