Backyard Morning Migrants and Green Pond ~ May 5, 2021

The dreary morning turned bright with the finding of seven warbler species in the backyard. They included Northern Parula, Yellow and Yellow-rumped, Bay-breasted, Blackburnian, and Black-throated Blue and Green.

In the early afternoon, Killdeer, Wilson's Snipe, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, and Least and Solitary Sandpipers were present at Green Pond along with Great Blue and Green Heron, Eastern Kingbird, three warbler species, and a Red-breasted Nuthatch.
