Harris's Sparrow in Northampton County! ~ January 31, 2004

Rick Wiltraut found an adult winter Harris's Sparrow along Stone Church Drive near Stone Church in Upper Mount Bethel Township on January 31st. I was able to get a few photos of the bird, which was associating with a group of White-crowned Sparrows.

I last saw it on 2/27/04. This bird represents the 2nd record for the Lehigh Valley area.
