After getting a haircut at my daughter's salon, I checked the Tatamy Exit retention pond. There was nothing in the pond, which has been invaded by tall grasses, but I did find two Least Sandpipers in the long trench along the south side of the pond.
The Newburg Road retention pond held a Double-crested Cormorant while the adjacent grass field held 21 Killdeer and 18 Chimney Swifts circled overhead.
Over at Green Pond were 10 continuing Snow Geese, 3 Spotted Sandpipers, 3 Green Herons, a Bald Eagle, 2 Eastern Kingbirds, 4 Tree Swallows, and a Barn Swallow.
