I went to Green Pond since I hadn't been there in a while. The 6 Snow Geese continued next to the pond along with a Great Blue Heron. Along the paved path were a Northern House Wren, an American Robin, around 50 Brown-headed Cowbirds, 7 Chipping Sparrows, 3 White-throated Sparrows, a couple Yellow-rumped Warblers, and my first two Dark-eyed Juncos of the season. The back middle pond held 51 Mallards.
Over at the wooded pond by the house, I found a Blue-headed Vireo and another Yellow-rumped Warbler.
The Newburg Road retention pond was filled up due to the recent rains and only held 7 Mallards. Three Killdeer were in the grassy field.
Five Green-winged Teal were in the Hollo Road retention pond while 10 Lesser Black-backed Gulls flew by.
