I took an early morning walk at the Woodland Hills Preserve and saw 43 species. Among them was a Pine Warbler that was embedded just far enough inside a White Pine to keep me from getting a clear photo of it. I did manage a couple showing most of the identification points.
One of the handful of Common Yellowthroats posed nicely along the beginning of the Green Trail.
Two Broad-winged Hawks were seen circling over the preserve.
