During another late day stop at Green Pond, I spotted a 'fly-by' Great Egret over the flooded field area.
In the small wooded area at the 'T' intersection, I found a Palm Warbler of the pale "western form". Notice in the last photo how closely his colors match his surroundings.
I also had a very cooperative Solitary Sandpiper pose for me at the small pond next to the house.
Other notables among the 37 species included the continuing Blue-winged Teal pair, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Spotted, Solitary, and Least Sandpiper, Great Blue and Green Heron, Osprey, Warbling Vireo, Bank Swallow, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Northern Waterthrush, and Yellow and Yellow-rumped Warbler.
