I headed over to Green Pond. Three Great Egrets were at the pond itself along with a Great Blue Heron.

Newburg Road and Green Pond ~ September 11, 2023
I headed over to the Newburg Road ponds and checked the west pond by Koch Toyota, which held 4 Greater Yellowlegs, 14 Lesser Yellowlegs, 2 Solitary Sandpipers, and a Great Blue Heron. The field by the hospital produced a nice count of 33 Killdeer and 7 Horned Larks.
