I went to Jacobsburg State Park and found a little increase in the variety of migrants compared with previous days. I came across a small group of warblers that included Black-and-white, Black-throated Green, Yellow-rumped, Northern Parula, and American Redstart, plus Red-eyed Vireo. I got some photos of one of the eight Baltimore Orioles present.
An adult White-crowned Sparrow sat in a bush near the old buildings across from the visitor center, and a Northern Rough-winged Swallow was along the creek.
A Louisiana Waterthrush fed among the rocks in the creek in the area of the hemlock glen.
Other notables included Common Merganser, Great Blue Heron, Cooper's Hawk, Eastern Phoebe, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Wood Thrush, Field Sparrow, Ovenbird, and Common Yellowthroat.
