A couple of young Blue Jays showed up at my little waterfall in the early morning.
I drove over to the Newburg Road retention ponds. There was nothing unusual there, but I counted 23 Killdeer around the pond and in the large, grassy field between the pond and the hospital. Two Eastern Kingbirds, an Eastern Bluebird, and an American Goldfinch were also there.
Green Pond was a little more active. The Snow Goose continued in one of the retention ponds.
A Great Blue Heron stood on one of the surrounding fences.
Four Green Herons were also there along with a few Eastern Kingbirds.
A Red-eyed Vireo and an Indigo Bunting were seen near the intersection by Green Pond.
