A stop at the Hollo Road pond produced 3 Wood Ducks, a Great Blue Heron, and a Solitary Sandpiper but not much else.
At the Newburg Road retention pond, a Great Egret was feeding along its edge.
Four Mallard ducklings were swimming around near their mother.
In the field near the hospital, a total of 15 Horned Larks were sneakily working their way through the grass patches.
