As of noon, I hadn't seen any information as to whether the Stilt Sandpiper that I spotted yesterday at the Hollo Road retention pond was still there, so I headed over there after lunch. There were two birders looking at the bird when I arrived. I tried taking a few more photos, but the bird was at the back of the pond, making that difficult.
A stop at the Newburg Road retention pond produced four Horned Larks among 16 Killdeer.
The Green Pond area held a Green Heron and a Hairy Woodpecker. Oddly, the Hairy was a species I had never seen at that location before.
