I returned to the Melchor Tract Park. I spent a lot of time trying to find the Orange-crowned Warbler, but that didn't happen. While doing that, I did see a Blue-headed Vireo and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
Sparrows seen there included 21 Song Sparrows, 6 Swamp Sparrows, 4 White-throated Sparrows, 2 Savannah Sparrows, and 3 Lincoln's Sparrows.
Other birds seen there included at least 50 Cedar Waxwings, 23 Red-winged Blackbirds, 9 Eastern Bluebirds, 5 Gray Catbirds, an Eastern Towhee, and a Common Yellowthroat.
At Green Pond, a Belted Kingfisher was perched along its edge, and 2 Great Egrets continued in the Farmersville Road pond.
The back middle pond held the continuing Spotted Sandpiper while the Green Pond Road pond held the continuing Solitary Sandpiper.
Other birds seen along the paved path included 6 Killdeer, 2 Great Blue Herons, 3 Black Vultures, 3 American Goldfinches, 3 Yellow-rumped Warblers, and one each of Swamp, Chipping, and Savannah Sparrow.
