I birded the Tekening area of the Martins Creek Environemtal Preserve and recorded 44 species. Notables included Yellow-throated Vireo, 8 warbler species, Cedar Waxwing, Baltimore Oriole, Scarlet Tanager, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, and Indigo Bunting.
An Orchard Oriole posed along nearby Depues Road.
At my last stop, the two Great Egrets continued to show off their plumes at Green Pond.
