Great Egrets at Each Stop ~ July 24, 2024

My first stop of the day was at Green Pond. There, I saw a Killdeer, 3 Spotted Sandpipers, a Solitary Sandpiper, a Least Sandpiper, 3 Great Blue Herons, a Green Heron, and a Great Egret.

At the Newburg Road retention pond behind the hospital, a Great Egret and an Eastern Bluebird were noted.

Over at the Hollo Road retention pond, 3 Great Egrets and 2 Great Blue Herons were wading around.

Also seen there were 2 Killdeer, 2 Solitary Sandpipers, and 11 Least Sandpipers.

Yet another Great Egret was at a nearby retention pond along Van Buren Road, the sixth one for the day.
