I went down to "The Point", the very tip of the peninsula. This is the first piece of land the birds see as they're flying north across Lake Erie. On the shoreline were my first
Bonaparte's Gulls and
Common Terns.

Yellow-billed Cuckoo was perched by the Visitors Center. A
Mourning Warbler was found in "Tilden's Woods" along with a Canada Warbler.

Later, back at the Visitors Center, an
Orchard Oriole was present. A
Semipalmated Plover was in a field at Hillman Marsh. In a snag behind the Pelee Motor Inn was a
Black-crowned Night-Heron.
