As I started checking the woods and field edges along Steuben Road, the Northern Harrier made a pass over the field.
Birds seen at the woods edge included Eastern Wood-Pewee, Eastern Phoebe, Blue-headed Vireo, Ruby-crowned and Golden-crowned Kinglet, Cedar Waxwing, Tennessee, Blackpoll, Palm, and Yellow-rumped Warbler, and Chipping, Field, Lincoln's and Swamp Sparrow among the many Songs and White-throateds. The edge of the field continued to hold several Savannah Sparrows.
Over at the north pond, the two Northern Shovelers continued along with two Green-winged Teal and the Pied-billed Grebe.
At the south pond, the American Coot continued among the geese and Mallards.
While there, two Cooper's Hawks, one an adult and the other an immature, were circling overhead.
