Iceland Gulls at the Grand Central Landfill ~ February 1, 2017

My friend, Jason Horn, called me to tell me he was pretty sure he had an adult Slaty-backed Gull at the Grand Central landfill in Plainfield Township. I was unable to make it up there that day, so I went there the next day. Although we didn't refind his gull, there were several Iceland Gulls there. I got some 'so-so' photos through the fence of one of the young birds and, later, an adult.
