Central California Trip ~ July 12, 1996

Point Reyes National Seshore was today's destination. When we got there, fog obscured the lighthouse.

By the time we got over to Chimney Rock, the fog had burned off, allowing great views in many directions.

We picked up Route 1 and followed it south past the Bolinas Lagoon to the Golden Gate Bridge, which was also enshrouded in fog.

A stop at the beach at Crissy Field provided views of the bridge and Alcatraz Island.

From there, it was a short drive to crazy Lombard Street.

We continued east to Telegraph Hill and the Coit Tower.
