In the backyard at home, I got some photos of a Golden-crowned Kinglet feeding in one of the evergreens.
In the late afternoon, I took a quick walk along the Palmer Bikeway. I heard the pair of Great Horned Owls calling back and forth and located one of them high in the pines.
There weren't any other notable birds present, so I headed over to Green Pond. The Great Egret sporting full breeding plumes contined at the pond.
Other birds found there included a Killdeer, an Eastern Phoebe, 2 Barn Swallows, 4 Palm Warblers, and the continuing female American Kestrel.
