Bonaparte's Gulls at the Martins Creek Power Plant Area ~ April 12, 2025

I saw a text from Adam Smith stating that there were Bonaparte's Gulls at the pond near the Martins Creek PPL power plant. I headed up there and found 7 Bonaparte's Gulls still there. I got some distant documentation photos of them.

Also at the pond were 26 Buffleheads, a Lesser Scaup, and 44 Tree Swallows.
At the nearby boat launch area, I saw 5 Common Mergansers downriver.
The good numbers of swallows feeding over the river were comprised of roughly 50 each of Tree Swallows and Northern Rough-winged Swallows plus 2 Barn Swallows. A portion of the swallows were perched in a nearby tree.
